Hyderabad: Hyderabad larger and peripheral regions do not have to face the problem of water in the future as the chief minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao is planning to lift water from Kondapochamma Sagar and fill the reservoir Osmansagar, said Minister of Urban Development & Development, KT Rama Rao on Monday.
He was speaking after laying the foundation stone Package-II of ‘Outer Ring Water Supply Scheme Phase-II in Alkapur Township in Manikonda, which will see a new water line and the service reservoir was built as part of it.

For all projects Orr Phase-II, the government has allocated Rs 1,200 crore.
KTR said that this project will benefit from six lakh people living in 978 communities and gated colony.
