Vadodara: In a new attack conducted at a city hotel, a man from Hyderabad was arrested on Saturday night to sell clothes intended to be an upscale fashion brand at an exhibition.
Police Ijigunjia carried out an attack on information distributed by officials from the intellectual property rights consulting company on Saturday.
The company is authorized by two top-class fashion companies to keep sales of fake clothing under their brand name and register violations.
The police said that the defendant identified as Mukeshkumar Kedia had advertised sales in the local newspaper in front of an exhibition at a hotel in Kuisjigunj.
The police reached the exhibition and questioned Kedia in place.
When the police demanded the purchase of Bill from all shares to check the authenticity of the clothes, the Koran admitted that he did not have a purchase bill and that the clothes had a fake tag from large brands.
Police found stock 465 t-shirts, 97 denim pants, 100 pairs of shoes, 234 women’s tops and 29 jackets worth more than Rs 8.5 lakh.

“The defendant advertised that the stock is ready to be sold with a discount of up to 90%, which according to the complainant is not a decent agreement.
Because there is suspicion, we check and after verifying that the stock of duplicate, we have arrested the seller,” said a police officer.
