Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Manoj Sinha said at Jammu on Saturday said that “they were found guilty” at the Hyderpora meeting “will not be safe”, and that the administration is committed to ensuring justice.
Overcoming Sikh’s meeting in the Jammu area on Gurpurab’s occasion, Sinha said that things would be clearer in three to four days and “I will be able to discuss more about the problem (sic)”.
L-G has ordered a magisterial probe into the Hydepora meeting where four people, including the owner of the building where the incident occurred, Altaf Ahmad Bhat, and Dr.
Mudasir Gul was killed.
Both are residents of Srinagar.
While the police argued that Altaf Bhat was killed in a shootout, he said Gul was an OGW who operated with TRF terrorist Pakistani Haidar, aka Bilal, was killed with local terrorist associates, Amir Ahmed from Banihal.
Altaf’s body and Gul were first buried by police in Handwara.
After protests by the male family killed and public and political protests, the bodies were excavated and left to the family on Thursday night.
Two terrorists who were killed were buried in Handwara, Kupwara Regency.
The probe ordered by L-G was being carried out by ADC, Srinagar, who had issued a notification that invited witnesses to record statements.
L-G has promised a probe to be done in a time-bound manner.
The family of Amir Ahmed from BaniHal also demanded the return of his son who, they said, was a boy at the Gul office and not a terrorist.
