Jaipur: From Aloo Tikki to Pani Puri, all street foods that flush the mouth always find a place in the list of food lovers.
But, if served in no hygienic conditions, it can be a nightmare because it might invite illness.
To ensure safe and hygienic street food, the Ministry of Health will now provide a tag for a group of street food vendors ‘clean street food hubs’ but only after ensuring that they follow all hygienic practices.
The places with the restaurant cluster will be declared as ‘clean street food hubs’, after the health department conducts the vendor training to follow the best cleanliness practices so that their food is safe and clean for consumption.
For this purpose, the Ministry of Health has identified places such as Masala Chowk Jaipur, the Gaurav Tower area and places throughout the state where the restaurant clusters offer food to people.
Indian food and standard security authorities help the country because it has published a guideline for the ‘Clean Street Food Hub’ declaration on increasing existing food road infrastructure.
This initiative will also help popularize and promote local and regional cuisine.
“We have prepared a list of all such places where street food vendors operate in a cluster.
We will ensure that food beards must stay clean, use clean water to cook and drink, and also use hand gloves and aprons, if necessary.
Too, They must wear head heads and cover their mouths while working, “said Dr.
Ravi Prakash Sharma, an additional director, the Ministry of Health.
“Food vendors will be trained first and only after ensuring that the food vendor group follows the right guidelines will be stated as a clean street food hub,” Dr Sharma said.
This initiative will help food lovers to go to places like that and consume food without hesitation.
The Ministry of Health will begin basic food safety and cleanliness training for street food vendors, helpers and handlers.
