Chennai: Hyundai Motor Indian Foundation (HMIF), Hyundai Philanthropic Sleeves India, has inaugurated a 50-liter oxygen generation factory per minute (LPM) at the Government Hospital, Uthiramerur in Kancheepuram Regency Tamil Nadu.
The factory will address oxygen needs from close to 13 ICU beds in the hospital.
Medical oxygen will help care for Covid-19 patients in hospitals and also meet oxygen demand for other related diseases.
This oxygen plant is one of three factories established in Tamil Nadu.
Two other factories are located in the Cuddalore district and Chennai.
Ganesh Mani S, Hyundai Motor India Foundation, said, “The ongoing pandemic makes the spotlight being prepared for any possibility.

Oxygen supply availability sustainable it is very important to save critical patients and so we step forward to regulate this facility and make it independent to meet future demand.
“Apart from this plant, HMIF also prepares oxygen plants in Kurinjipadi and Tondairet in Tamil Nadu standing together with the community during the time -The challenging class.
