I am optimistic Abadi: Anupam Kher

The online Times Litfest edition began with an interesting conversation between Anupam’s actor Kher and Vinita Dawra Nangia – Director of the Literature Festival and Executive Editor, Times of India.
The session named ‘Tuning into happiness with Anupam Kher’ began with Vinita asking an actor about how acting and writing had worked as a catharsis experience for him and how the two trips were different.
Replying to this question, Anupam said, “Writing is something I want to express what I feel as a person.
All three books that I have written are the extension of what I have felt.
You can call it a live training book or themselves -Help books .
They have made me someone I and I hope the readers also feel that they can identify what I experienced.

He further added, “writing books has been more Catarsik because when I play characters in the film, the character is that person, not me, even though I manifested it through my emotions and acting abilities.
But when I wrote it a book, it was a direct connection with my reader.
There is no false quality about my books.

The conversation moved forward to Vinita asking Anupam did he find it difficult to put his mind on paper.
Replying to this, the actor said that taking the road he used as an actor.
Every time he finds a difficult speech or para, he wrote it.
He uses the same process with a writer.
“I talked my mind into Dictaphone, I didn’t write.
I am not a trained writer.
I speak in Dictaphone first, making it transcribed by someone, and then the book is needed,” he said.

“I am an eternal optimistic.
My career has been the result of my optimism than my talent.
But during a pandemic, I can’t do it,” he said.
As a result of this, he began writing his journey and what he experienced during locking.
Quoting a beautiful line from his book, where he mentioned how important “sometimes dancing in the rain,” Vinita asked Anupam about his mind behind it.
Replying to this, the actor said, “I always celebrate my failure.
I don’t like to pretend because people pretend don’t like themselves.
But I like myself for what I have done with my life.”
The discussion stated against Anupam talked about how important it was an honest emotion.
According to him, it is very important to go through bad times in life to tell others and yourself how to deal with it.
Towards the end of the conversation, Vinita said that Anupam could see something with a unique eye and find pleasure and humor in everything, and this helped him a good human being.
Replying to Vinita, Anupam gives a life lesson to the audience: “Happiness is something you must train.
For three months, try reacting to everything that is positive and happy, no matter what.
If you do this for three months, you will have this for Three months, you will have mastery.
Then you will get used to it, and that’s what I do.
