New Delhi: Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur on Monday gave people to contribute to Ganga’s rejuvenation, by saying that the river has an emotional and spiritual connection with all Indians, also has a large economic interest.

The first series ‘Rag Rag Mein Ganga’ was launched by Doordarshan in February 2019 as a mainstay program at Doordarshan National Channel.
Assigned by NMCG, this 21-part series includes a long journey of 2,525 km – a mighty ganga from the source of Gomukh Glacier to Gangasagar, where the river joins Bay Bengal.
Minister I & B said the first series of Travelogue was watched by 1.75 crore people because of the quality of the contents.
He stressed that Doordarshan would be the “most watched channel” in the next three to four years, saying that public broadcasters will focus on creating the right content to increase viewers.
