New Delhi: The government on Monday brought all departments related to films and the ministry of broadcasters headquartered in Mumbai under one umbrella and appointed the CBFC Chief Executive Ravinder Bhakar because overall responsible, reported Swati Mathur.
With this, Bhaker, in addition to its responsibilities in CBFC, will oversee the operations of the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), Film Division, and Children of the Society of India Film (CFSI).
Bhakar said the structuring was well defined from the Reformed Corporation, in alignment with the requirements of the film industry, it would be the main item in his agenda, along with the interests of the employees of the department combined.
