Former Miss India Ankita Shorey is a new fashionista in town.

In an exclusive interaction with the Times of India, Etimes, she shared her style and her skin care secrets.
Here’s an excerpt from the interview.
How does your style evolved from the time of Miss India you for what you are wearing today?
As: At that time I was still exploring yourself and look towards validation.
Now I do not seek validation anything and I’m more confident, rooted and confident about my style.
I have evolved and I only wear things that I know I can do well and not because I see other people wearing it.
It is important to be able to carry whatever you wear with a lot of ease or you end up making a fool.

So I know what looks good on me and that’s what I used.

What do you remember prior to dress up for an event?
As I like to experiment with my looks depends on my mood and I do not fear the troll.

Even when I was in a wheelchair, I used to try my best to dress well and attending weddings or functions.
You must be comfortable in what you wear and you have to love yourself.
You can not have the whole world on your side.
Every international celebrities that you see when it comes to style? As I admire Hailey Baldwin.
I am quite in touch with his style.
I also like Kendall Jenner and Two Lipa.

Do you follow them?
As I see international stars to follow all the trends nineties and nouio.
I do not follow trends.

So I feel like sometimes I’m always in sync with the latest trends.

As I do not have a favorite.
I’m all about experimenting with different looks.
I can wear whatever looks good to me.
I also sneakerhead.
I have a large collection of sneakers.
I perfer heeled shoes.
Your Indo-Western views of Ankita Lokhande’s sangeet discussed.
How do you decide on the look?
For: For Sangeet, I wanted to try something different and fun.
So I took the skirt and denim jacket with Jaipuri working on it and I am working with sneakers and gladiator attached to it.
Who’s your designer?
As I like Dior, Chanel and LV.
I have a lot of stuff from Dior.
I love its classy appeal.
And if I want something colorful and unique, I would go to Gucci.
I also like Manish Malhotra and sequin collection recently was something I loved.
What Pet Fashion Pee you the most?
As I do not like tattoos.
I do not understand why people have this thing for tattoos.
