Mumbai: Wing Income Tax Investigation (IT) on Tuesday filed a complaint of prosecution against the Minister of State and NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal, his son Pankaj, Nephew Sameer, a company related to those-Armstrong Infrastructure Pvt Ltd – and Dummy Director of a Civilior Court and Session The city under the prohibition of the Benami Property Transaction Act (PBPT).
Allegedly that Armstrong infrastructure was Benamidar from several properties of more value than Rs 100 Crore and Bhujbal, along with PANKAJ and Sameer, the owner was profitable.
Officials claimed that Armstrong’s infrastructure director, Satyan Kesarkar, was a figure of Dummy and all decisions were taken by Bhujbals.
Complaints of prosecution stated: “established that Armstrong infrastructure is Benamidar and Chhagan Bhujbal, Sameer Bhujbal and Pankaj Bhujbal are profitable owners with respect to property.” When contacted, Bhujbal said, “All of these cases began in 2017.
We have challenged all the trials before the Loading Court of income tax and cases is still delayed.
We have also moved the Bombay High Court.” In 2017, the IT department began an investigation into the purchase of GIRNA Sugar Mills, along with land parcels in Malegaon by Armstrong infrastructure and temporarily attach PBPT properties.
Found Armstrong infrastructure has received Rs 17.8 Crore from two other companies controlled by Bhujbal – Armstrong Energy Pvt Ltd and Parvesh Constructions PVT Ltd.
Then revealed that the two companies have received a large number of doubtful entities as sharing premiums.
Previously, the Enforcement Directorate had also harmonized the two companies and found that more than two dozen paper companies had paid RS 9,900 premiums for each shares worth 100 from two companies, so they helped them legitimize “polluted” RS 130-Crore “polluted”.
The transaction took place between 2009 to 2012.
Investigators found that Armstrong infrastructure had used money to buy property, including GIRA Sugar Mills, for RS 27.8 Crore through auction from the debt recovery court.
The I-T Department Prosecution Report stated that it was a polluted fund owned by Bhujbal, Pankaj and Sameer they used indirectly to obtain the property not to move on the name of Armstrong infrastructure.
The company has also bought land parcels in Panvel, Thane and Mumbai.
The report further accused Bhujbal with the help of the Pankaj, Sameer and other Associates bought property Benami by investing sick money through the web of Shell company in Kolkata, Mumbai and other places.
