New Delhi: Infosys on Wednesday said it was focused on the problem resolved “quickly” related to the new income tax portal and referred to as the “single largest priority” for the current company.
Infosys Top Management said that many problems around performance and stability have been handled, and that around 10 lakh ITRS (return tax refund) has been submitted so far.

Infosys is, in 2019, contracts to develop the subsequent generation income tax archiving system to reduce processing time for a return of 63 days to one day and accelerate refunds.
This portal lives in June this year.
The new income tax portal called “http://www.incometax.gov.in” has a bumpy start from its launch day on June 7 because it continues to face technology disorders, which encourages Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman to call a meeting on June 22 with officials Infosys who have developed a new website.
