New Delhi: The Department of Income Tax on Sunday said that it has published a refund of more than Rs 70,120 Crore until September 6 this year.
From a personal income tax refund from RS 16,753 Crore has been issued in more than 24.70 cases of lakh and tax refunds of the company RS 53,367 Crore has been issued in the case of 1.38 lakh.
“CBDT (Central Board of Direct Tax) issued a refund of more than RS 70,120 Crore to more than 26.09 Lakh Taxpayers between April 1, 2021 to September 6, 2021,” Department of Income Tax Tweeted.
