IAF aircraft from Kabul land in Jamnagar Airbase; Leaves for Delhi after refueling

JAMNAGAR: Indian Air Force aircraft with 120 people, including the Indian Ambassador and staff at the Embassy in Kabul, landed on Tuesday at Jamnagar Airbase in Gujarat from Afghanistan, said an official.
The C-17 aircraft touched the IAF airbase at 11.15 in the morning on the way to Airbase Hindon near Delhi.
Bilisu for Hindon shortly after 3pm after refueling, the official said.
The aircraft had taken off from Kabul who brought Indian personnel as part of an emergency evacuation because of the current situation in the Afghan capital after the Taliban took over.
As soon as the passenger on the C-17 elevator transport aircraft by giving up, they were welcomed by the people present at Tarmac, the official said.
Many passengers are shed and many others are seen singing ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.
The Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan Rudrendra Tandon told reporters in Jamnagar that the situation in Kabul Complex and “quite liquid” now and that Indians trapped in the city will be taken home when commercial flight services continue.
“It’s nice to return home safely and safely.
We are a very big mission.
We are a mission of 192 personnel evacuated from Afghanistan literally within three days in a very orderly way in two phases,” he said.
Tandon, who assumed costs as an Indian ambassador in Afghanistan in August last year, said the embassy helped and even provided protection to many Indians who were depressed after a quick situation changed in Kabul.
“We continue to monitor the situation because there are still some Indian citizens who are there.
That is why Air India will continue to run commercial services to Kabul,” he said.

Thanks to the Indian Air Force that flew us in abnormal conditions,” said Tandon, added that it continued to work for the welfare of the Afghans very much in India.
This thought is the second evacuation flight.
On Monday, other C-17 planes have evacuated around 40 people including several Indian embassy staff from Kabul before surgery at the airport in the city suspended.
“Those who are on the lunch boat after landing in Jamnagar,” said Minister of State and Gujarat’s civil supply, Dharmendrasinh Jadeja.
The Gujarat government said in the release that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was “keeping the evacuation of Indian citizens and officials stranded in Afghanistan” after the Taliban took over the country hit by a war.
