IAF, NDRF to save 625 evacuated in the Supreme

Aurangabad: Among the various rescue surgery carried out in the battered Marathwada region, a family of three from the village of Pohregaon in Taluka Renapur in the Latung District must be appointed with the Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter on Wednesday morning.

In the Aurangabad district, around 52 people from Lasur Village were saved on Wednesday morning after the level of the DHeku River rose further.
Ajey Choudhari, Disaster Disaster Management Officer Disaster Aurangabad, said the National Disaster Response (NDRF) team was in the area to anticipate more flooding.
Among other regions, Osmanabad District Administration said about 459 people shifted to a safer location, including 16 individuals who needed the help of the NDRF team to get out of flood water, more than 24 hours ended on Wednesday morning.
Six people trapped in Didupur Village within Osmanabad tehsil boundaries were rescued using a helicopter.
Meanwhile, there were no major rainfall activities reported in Marathwada for a 12-hour period which ended on Wednesday night and this helped alleviate the flood situation in many places.
Previously, this region reported an average of 24 mm, ending 9am on Wednesday.
Heavy rain since June 1 has 1.020 mm, 151% of the expected shower.
