Hyderabad: The Telangana Government on Monday night moved eight district collectors and gave a post to several officers who had been waiting for an appointment.
The new collector has been appointed to Rajanna Sircilla, Jangaon, Warangal, Karareddy, Nagarke, Jogulamba Gadwal, Vicarabad and Mahabubabad.
Most of the new collectors belong to the 2016 Batch IAS, which has worked as the city commissioner.
The Collector District of Sircilla Rajanna D Krishna Bhaskar was transferred as Director of Industry and Khammam Commissioner of Anuraag Jayanti City was posted to Rajanna Sircilla as a collector.
Nizampet Municipal Corporation Commissioner B Gopi is a new collector collector of Warangal and Jangaon K Nikhila has shifted to the Vicarabad district.
P Udaya Kumar, who works as Commissioner of the City of Ramagundam, posted as a district collector of Nagarurna, eliminates M Manu Chowdary from full additional costs.
