ICC costs Marlon Samuels to violate the anti-corruption code

Dubai: The International Cricket Council on Wednesday bills the former West Indies All-Samuels from violating the four count of the anti-corruption code during the T10 League, including failure to disclose the benefits of hospitality that can bring destruction to sports.
The body of government games demands west west on behalf of the Emirates Cricket Council (ECB), four-season T10 league organizers.
“Samuels will be given a period of 14 days to respond to accusations,” the ICC release said.
This 40-year-old Samuels played 71 tests, 207 ODIS and 67 T20IS in his international career, scored 11,134 runs and took 152 goals.
He retired from Cricket International in November 2020.
According to ICC, Samuels violated Articles 2.4.2, 2.4.3, 2.4,6 and 2.4.7 from the code.
Three articles handle failure to reveal to anti-corruption officials, acceptance of every gift, payment, hospitality or other benefits made or given in the circumstances that “can bring participants or cricket sports to be not annoyed”, not cooperation with investigations, and deterrent or Deferring the investigation by “hiding information that might be relevant …” The latest edition of the T10 League was held in Abu Dhabi in January-February earlier this year.
Samuels was part of the event in 2019 when he appeared for Karnataka Tuskers, led by South African Star Hashim Amla.
