Dubai: The horse in the brilliant century against England in the second test in the Lord, Kl Rahul surged 19 places to 37th place, while captain of Virat Kohli continued to remain a ranked top of India in the fifth position in the latest ICC ranking released Wednesday.
Rahul, who has re-entered ranking in 56th place last week, has scored 129 in the first round of India against England playing a big role in his team’s 151-run victory.
Kohli, who has dropped a place last week, remains static in the fifth, while the opening of Rohit Sharma and Wicketkeeper-Batsman Rishabh Pant also retained their sixth and seventh spots respectively.
