Rajkot: A 45-year-old Pot parlour proprietor in Morbi city commtted suicide by swallowing poison, purportedly because several moneylenders were calling him repaying money borrowed by his own relatives. The deceased has been named Sanjay Karia who possessed the parlour at Green Chowk. Karia had an wholesale tea enterprise. After consuming toxin, Karia called his buddies, advised them about the extreme measure on Monday afternoon. His buddies frantically searched for him and found him nearby RTO circle. He had been taken to a hospital at Morbi where he expired. “The main probe indicates that among his loved ones had borrowed cash and Karia was among those signatory. Moneylenders were allegedly calling him for repayment, which may be the main reason behind suicide,” police said.
