ICMR Project Export 62 Covid-19 Crore Testing Kit Between July and September

New Delhi: The Indian Medical Research Board (ICMR) on Tuesday projects the export of 62 Covid-19 Crore testing kits between July and September.
“ICMR / DHR (Ministry of Health Research) supports producers to export the amount of Covid-19 diagnostic kit surplus after fulfilling domestic demand.
Projected exports until September 2021 is the cumulative total of 62 crore test kits from RT.
-PCR, viral transportation media (VTM), RNA extraction and fast antigen test, “ICMR said in a tweet.
Furthermore, said the production capacity of the Covid-19 testing kit has been substantially enhanced, “making India Atmanirbhar (Mandiri)”.
This has resulted in a reduction in costs and increased availability significantly.
Indian producers substantially increase their production capacity to meet domestic requirements and the number of surpluses can be exported, the Puncak Research Agency said.
