Kolkata: The council for inspection of the Indian School Certificate (CISCE) on Wednesday announced a schedule for the first semester board exam for ICSE and ISC.
The two examinations will begin in November and leave in December, according to Round that has reached the principal from Gerry Arathion, chief executive and the council secretary.
This year, both the X-class and class XII examinations have been divided into two semesters, with the first examination scheduled to begin in November and the second is estimated in March-April.
The first semester exam ICSE (class X) will begin on November 15 and continue until December 6th ISC’s first semester exam (class XII) will also begin on November 15 and continue until December 16.
While the ICSE exam will begin with the English paper that I attended by English paper II the next day, the ISC exam will begin with English literature, followed by English the following day.
All tests have a duration of one hour, except for mathematical choices, Hindi and Group III which will be one and a half hours for ICSE students.
For ISC students, all tests will last one and a half hours.
The ICSE exam will start at 11 am, while the ISC exam will start at 2pm.

The principal said they were happy that the Board had stated the schedule for the first semester exam was so early.
“Now, students will have a timeline to prepare themselves,” said Father Bikash Mondal, Principal Don Bosco Park Circus.
La Martiniere Principal for Boys John Stephen said that because the exam will take place for a long duration, adjustments to the solution to the syllabus and internal examination must be carried out.
Usually the syllabus used to be completed in November and the training exam will begin afterwards.
Time must also be set aside for the Practical Exam of the Board for ISC students, he said.
