Hyderabad: The voter ID card will be distributed to new voters registered on January 25 on the National Voters Day.
A summary of the revised new voter registration was taken for those who had reached the age of 18 with the reference date was January 1, 2022.
Following instructions from the main electoral officer Shashank Goel, administration was preparing to issue an epic card.
According to Ranga Reddy district officials, the voter kit will also be given which includes personal letters, voter guidelines, appointments and epics.
The card will be collected from the CEO in Hyderabad on January 17 and taken to the district for distribution.
In the Ranga Reddy district, 4,217 new voters have been registered, according to the DariRiya District Revenue Officer.
The CEO of Shashank Goel held a video conference with all district collectors on January 12 concerning voter registration and distribution of cards.
Jagtial Regency officials said the revised voter list was prepared on January 5, including those names that had reached the age of 18 years.
In three assembly segments that fall in the Jagtial District, a total of 2,412 new voters are registered and they will get their voter ID card on January 25.
Shanshank CEO GOEL also advised officials to take steps to send voter ID cards by post or make it sent through Gram Panchayats.
