Prasagraj: In the midst of the shouts of ‘Joi Durga Maai Ki Joi’ and applying the beats on their respective faces, Dewi Durga’s idols embedded by various Barwari and Durga Puja Samisis on Friday.
Thousands of worshipers reached the pool in Andhwa (Jhunsi) and paid Adieu to Dewi by immersing God’s idol after four days of worship.
Like the previous year’s practice, the district government has been regulated this year to immerse idols in ponds in Andhawa, Jhunsi.
