Mumbai: Educational agents throughout India are in the execution of overseas studies of ILTS Council’s Indian IELTS Business consultants, English language skills test, for £ 130 million, cash base.
The Association of Foreign Study Consultants in India (Asia) has expressed concerns over the monopoly in an English skills test that IDP will now order and weigh their choice to approach the Indian competition commission (CCI).
IELTS globally shared by IDP, British Council and Cambridge Assessment English.
After sales, all IELTS tests in India will be sent by IDP.
India is the largest Ielt market based on volume.
This test was taken by Lakh Indian candidates every year aspiring to go abroad, migrate or take overseas assignments, making it a very profitable product.
The British Council will stop offering IELTS from July 25 in India: a new order has stopped.
“In addition to taking legal streets, we wrote to universities who only accept IELTS to also begin to recognize other English skills test scores such as TOEFL and PTE,” said Sonal Parekh-hariyaa, advisors and Asaci members.
The main objection of Asiah is that IDP offers all service suites: This is an agent (university that pays costs to send international students to their campus) and counselors (help students collect application packages) and conductor tests with coaching facilities.
Piyush Kumar, Regional Director (South Asia), IDP Education, said, “We have a proven track record of the highest data privacy standards.
When student placement agencies in India are very conscious, we do not distribute candidate data between the IELTS student placement team and IDP.
“While most universities receive various English-language skills tests, some consulate accept IELTS only for certain visas.
