A student from the Indore Institute Management (IIM) has been offered an annual package of Rs 49 lakh by the company to work in India during the placement process, an official said on Sunday.
This is the highest annual package offered during the final placement of this session at this Institute who has seen up 18 percent compared to the last.
The Institute has succeeded in completing the last placement of 572 participating candidates from the post after a two-year group (PGP) and a five-year integrated program in Management (HDI), the official release said.
More than 180 recruiters, including more than 30 new ones, offer prestigious roles to students from the 2022 Iim Indore batch.
The average package stands at a record of Rs 25.01 Lakh, witnessing a 6% increase compared to the previous year, the release said.

The Median Institute package also increased 6.6% to reach RS 24.09 lakh record.
The highest package (during the placement of this session at IIM Indore) offered on campus is Rs 49 Lakh.

During placement, employers who offered a 31 percent job offer the highest to students came from the counseling sector.
In addition, 20 percent of employment offers are provided in the financial sector, 18 percent in sales and marketing, 16 percent in general management and 15 percent in the information and analytical technology sector.
