New Delhi: Congress leader must first fight RSS and BJP, and then sort out their differences, Senior Party leader Salman Khurshid said on Thursday.
His statement came in the middle of a demand at a part of the senior section for organizational improvement.
There is a lot of debate about the president’s problem in Congress, Khurshid said and added that “when the time comes, we will tell who our president (next)”.
“At present, Sonia Gandhi is our president and if there is a change, it will be notified to you,” he said while overcoming the events of the Delhi Congress Law Department.
Khurshid said that the party had to fight RSS and BJP.
“If we continue to fight between ourselves how we will fight RSS and BJP.
Let’s first fight RSS and BJP and then we will sort out our own what to do,” he said.
Senior Party leader Kapil Sibal recently hit Rahul Gandhi on Monday for his reported statement that the leaders who had written to Sonia Gandhi for improving the organization “colluded with BJP”, and said he had never made a statement that supported the Safron Party in the problem anything in the last 30 years.
Sibal is one of the 23 party leaders who have written a letter to Sonia Gandhi who are looking for “full-time” active in the field and “looks” in the party office, the power devolution for the state unit and evenly distributed Congress (CWC) in line with the party’s constitution, at between other changes.
Khurshid called Rahul Gandhi as the leader of “brave” and “capital” very important party.
Referring to the BJP attack on Congress on leadership issues, he said, “You must be happy if you think we don’t have a president and therefore you line up quickly.
Why do you have to be disturbed?” “Rahul Gandhi is a very important capital (Sarmaya) party.
You will all have a role in deciding how he is served before the nation in the future,” he said to handle meeting leaders and party members.
Despite losing to BJP twice in elections, Rahul Gandhi was still his second leader, Khurshid added.
The event was attended by several leaders of Congress including Delhi President Anil Kumar unit.
