IFS officer at City Don Hat’s environment, starting a green campaign

Ranchi: Indian Forest Service Officer has launched a campaign ‘I am my responsibility’, which aims to plant puppies across state capital with the help of NGOs and ordinary people.
Siddharth Tripathi, who has worked in the country bureaucracy for several years now, was disturbed by a survey that revealed that 53 wards under the corporate boundaries of Ranchi City have lost around 95% of green plants in the last 15 years, which encouraged him to take it initiative.
Tripathi said, “When I saw the Ranchi satellite map a year ago I was surprised to see the thinning of greenery.
When the Indian forest survey did not conduct a survey for city limitations, I, along with some experts, decided to do one myself to calculate losses.
We took help geographical information system and analyzing data between 2004 and the ongoing year and we were surprised to find that in most green plant wards shrank between 50% and 95%.
“He added,” Today, when you travel from Albert Ekka Chowk to Over -bridge on the main road you can’t even find one tree.
But in the 2000s, Ranchi used to be covered with trees, according to the data we learned.
Now, some wards are left with only 10% of greenery.
For example, satellite maps area like Lalpur, Albert Ekka Chowk and Aware of Hospital showed that these areas were once fertile green for 2004 but now They don’t have trees.
“When asked about the possibility of the reason behind the green depletion, Tripathi said:” We found several factors that include rapid urbanization without proper planning for open space and commercialization of private land, among others.
In short, we can say that green plants are sacrificed in the past half decade on the urbanization of orders.
“In an effort to encourage more people to participate in their campaign, Tripathi has held several rounds of discussions with representatives of Chancellor, principals from schools and colleges, trading agencies, doctor and NGO associations such as Rotary and Lions International and according to him, everyone has been Decided to take part in it.
“We have formed the core committee for all 53 wards consisting of members of the environment.
From July 4, we will hold a meeting every Sunday and in the first phase, we will plant puppies in places such as schools, colleges, housing and park buildings, “Tripathi said, added,” Citizens’ participation is one of the key elements From this campaign and the core committee have decided to run it for the next five years.
“” We don’t ask for support from the government because people are ready to make their city their own green.
I have been told during my previous meeting that everyone wants their city to be green, only they don’t know how to do it.
I hope with everyone’s participation, we will be able to make Ranchi Green again, “he said.
