Patna: The first outpatient clinic for people who need liver transplant opened at the Institute of Medical Sciences Indira Gandhi (IGIM) on Patna on Saturday.
“OPD services will only be available on Saturday when doctors from all allied branches will examine patients and decide whether they need transplants or not,” Head of the Surgical Gastroenterology Department and liver transplantation, said this reporter, to this reporter, added that only two patients were undergo a liver transplant in the hospital to date.
