Ignaan Astronaut – Choosing Indian Training from September

The four astronauts who chose part of the event program were scheduled to start their Indian training from the first week of September with a national medical advisory board specifically for this program, after placing the protocol to be followed by a pandemic situation.
The first leg will be a two-week flight training where they will work with the Indian Air Force (IAF).
After this, they will start their academic courses or theories.
Fitness and other related activities will be a sustainable process through their training.
The Chair of the ISRO K Sivan told Tii: “We have two council meetings and protocols for training under the current situation it has been decided.
This will be a fixed committee that will continue to monitor training to ensure that medical astronauts are suitable.” Committee led by The Scientific Advisor to the Principal (PSA) to Prime Minister, K Vijay Raghavan, also has members of the three services of the armed forces, and Director of Nimhans (Bengaluru) and Jipmer (Puducherry).
“…
Among other things, the Board has set guidelines to explore the physical, the need for glass separators between astronauts during academic training, bio-bubble creation when they practice in certain modules, etc., which is also the deputy chairman of the council, said .
He added that when the four men left Bengaluru and went to another location for training, the test level of test (TPR) of the location must be below 0.9%.
As reported by the previous TOI, the four IAF test pilots have completed their training in Russia and return to Bengaluru earlier this year.
Even though they have used themselves with basic astronaut training in Russia, they are scheduled to start their special mission training in India.
India’s training will occur in several cities and with the help of several institutions, including the three armed forces services.
For example, special training modules in the different conditions and reactions they need – all will occur in Benga Luru, while testing and water survival training will occur in the Niot (National Institute of Ocean Technology) in Chennai.
Other flights and training will be provided by the IAF while ISRO has also been associated with the Navy.
Some centrifuge tests will occur at the Institute of Aerospace Medicine (IAM) while physical training and several simulators will occur in the integration of ISRO satellite and testing (ISITE), both in Bengaluru.
Advanced training will involve socialization of systems, including launch vehicles.
This will mostly become the theory that will help selected astronauts understand various systems that will launch them into space and bring them back safely.
After this, they will start a flight simulation where they will be taught how to use safety instruments, intervene manually to operate the flight system if an error occurs, how to take photos of the earth and so on.
Furthermore, ISRO will build or buy a new simulator that will provide advanced training to the selected astronauts in Bengaluru.
The crew simulator and service will be developed by the ISRO with industrial assistance, which will enable astronauts to train using onboard survival kit, operating various systems such as Orbital monitoring, Sivan said, adding that besides all this, astronauts will have a regular airplane schedule to make They remain active.
