HubbalLi: The construction of permanent buildings for the Indian Information Technology Institute (IIIT) is completed at 5 hectares near Tadasinakoppa in Dharwad.
Iiit temporarily functions from Ti park.
The Institute began in 2015 in IT Park in Hubballi.
The new location offers all facilities to make information technology learning more practical than other IIITs in this country.
Directors, Dr.

In February 2019, Batu Foundation for the new building was placed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The whole campus will be at 60 hectares, where the building will be made at 5 hectares at a cost of Rs 128 Crore.
In a five-story building, there are 30 extensive classrooms.
Two classrooms are built with 240 seat capacity.
Electric laboratories and separate hostels for boys and girls will be there.
These are students currently studying at iiit.
This campus is large enough to accommodate around 4,000 students, said Dr.
Mahesh.
The Institute offers BTECH in computer science, electronics, data science data and PhD programs.
The aim of IIG is to overcome the skill gap on the upper class information technology and thus activate India to maintain its global leadership in the field of IT and allies, the director said.
Only smart street lights are installed and concrete roads are built everywhere on campus.
The waste treatment plant has been arranged on campus as well.
Waste will be used for parks.
Overall, this is a sophisticated campus environment, the Director added.
