Ahmedabad: The last placement of the mainstay postgraduate program from the Indian Management Institute, Ahmedabad, concluded on Monday.
Regarded as a barometer of industrial trends, recruitment participation and the selected sectors by students show this industry out of the covid shadows.
IIM – The source said the number of participating companies and offers was made enhanced compared to 2020 and 2021, Covid years.
Of the 400 strange students sitting for placement, everything was placed in three days in 20 cohorts starting from consultation to IT / ITES and banking investment to retail.
While officials did not divulge the actual number of international placements, citing data consolidation and closing certain offers, they showed that it was more than the last two years, who witnessed nine and 19 offerings.
“About 50% of offers in the third cluster – consisting of analytics and IT consultations , Banking, Insurance, Consumer Technology, Company Companies, Financial Services, and Fintech are international offers, “said an official.

These changes can be attributed to the market and the limits opened after the pandemic,” said Prof.

Officials at the Placement Office said the consultation of management, finance and marketing was the biggest recruitment – a shift marked from 2021, when and the health care industry, driving a boom because of the largest recruiters.
“The maximum increase in recruitment has been witnessed from consultation, Fintech (Financial Technology) and consumer goods and the basic sector,” the official said.
While the agency remained tight lying about the highest and average payment package, sources said they were higher than last year when Rs 55 lakh per year was the highest offer received in the domestic market and Rs 1.16 Crore ($ 154,355) per year international market.
The remuneration package in 2021 was lower than the 72 lakh (domestic) RS package and $ 180,645 (overseas) which was seen in 2020.
The Boston consultation group made 47 offers, each from 32 and 27, respectively in 2021 and 2020.
Other recruiters include American Express, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Kearney, McKinsey & Company, Coca Cola, ITC, P & G, Nykaa, Amazon, and Adani Group.
