Visakhapatnam: India-Visakhapatnam Management Institute and a good national governance center signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday.
According to the MoU, two Prime Ministerial Institutions will explore opportunities to carry out joint academic programs, faculty exchanges, and collaboration in conducting research and consultation, in fields that have common interest.
The National Center for Good Governance is the Autonomy Institute of the Department of Administrative Reform and Public Complaints (Dar & Pg) under the Union Government, while IIM-Vizag is the third generation IIM who began its operations in 2015.
Extra Secretaries, Dar & Pg, who are also Director General of NCGG, V Srinivas, and Director of IIM-Vizag Prof.
Chandrasekhar exchanged MoU documents in front of Poonam Singh, Professor in NCGG and other faculty members at IIM-Visakhapatnam at an event conducted at the School School Premier in Visakhapatnam on Thursday.

Speaking on this occasion, V Srinivas, emphasized the role of academic institutions in building strong governance and public management models.
He explained the evolution of civil service in India and the role played by DARPG in bringing reforms in good governance and providing public services.
Additional Secretary encourages IIM Visakhapatnam to take research projects in evidence-based policy making, developing a good governance index and intervention in the development management room.
The Director of IIM-V Prof.
M Chandrasekhar, in his speech, focused on the scope of collaboration between the two institutions in fields such as public policy, public finance, ethics, and governance.
Previously on that day, Prof.
Chandrasekhar explained to the guests about the main initiatives that made IIim-Visakhapatnam different in many ways and help occupy niche places in the IIMS commitment.
He aroused a sharp interest in translating Mou’s items into action, priority.
The additional Secretary V Srinivas has an interaction session with the Iim-V faculty.
Amit Chakrabarti and Neena Pandey from IIM-V and Poonam Singh from NCGG also spoke.
