New Delhi: Startup India, which will amaze the audience at the beating ceremony of the retreat on Saturday with a light performance of 1,000 drones, taking the challenge of “developing technology in just six months” after getting financial support from the central government.
Botlab Dynamics, led by IIT alumni, given the initial seed funds of RS 1 Crore for R & D and subsequently, Rs 2.5 Crore for improvement and commercialization by the Ministry of Science & Technology Technology Development Board for the first-type technology project in the country.
Union Minister S & T Jitendra Singh, who met with the engineers and members of the Botlab team at his residence on Friday, said India would be the fourth country after China, Russia and England performed a large-scale show like that.
Singh said he was proud that this technology was developed domestically and all the necessary components, both hardware and software such as flight controllers, precision GPS, motor controllers and land control station algorithms, were indigenous.
The minister said Botlab, in relation to the Ministry of Defense, has concerned on a new event to commemorate the 75th year of independence.
A 10-minute show, he said, will showcase government achievements through creative formations in the sky.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to support a more innovative and sustainable startup to fulfill PM Modi’s vision to make Indian global hubs from the startup ecosystem.
