Overall, most Mumbai institutions fell in rank, including tisit, Mumbai University and NMIMs.
The Chemical Institute of Technology rose seven places to 27th place.
St Xavier was not looking at the top 100 universities for the first time – ranked down from 90 at 920 to the band 101-150.
The College of Social College is the only college Mumbai to make it top 100, but the ranking falls with nine places.
