The Indian Technology Institute Guwahati (IIT-Guwahati) has launched the Cyber-Physical System Center (CICC), which aims to develop customary technology.
This center seeks to develop at least five technologies per year.
This technology will be developed practically and aims to produce employment opportunities.
IIT Guwahati will fund the center for the first five years, after that the center is intended to be independent.
“CICPS will have an academic component, human resources and human technology and focus on developing products and technology for underwater exploration which is a research area that is not touched in the contour.” said T G Sitharam, Director, Iit Guwahati.
Robotics and artificial intelligence are the main enabler for the Indian industry that grows.
This is a combination of almost all streams of engineering and science.
New Master Program, which was initiated in CICC, was said to be aimed at advanced technical topics and to meet increasing industrial needs.
“How the science, engineering and technology in India complements each other and develop together so that the community can immediately achieve the desired culture, growth, and prosperity.” Said Indranil Manna, President, Indian National Engineering Academy.
Graduates will be able to use the scientific method to solve complex problems in research and practice, especially for industrial automation, to increase productivity.
The technological developments involved will lead to the formation of training schools related to manufacturing and robotics.
“Because it becomes an innovative and creative engineer, whatever we do to live, whatever tools we use to live, whatever we learn, the structure we build, they are all the results of a series of processes, ideas and practices complex.” Said M Jagadish Kumar, Deputy Chancellor, Jawaharlal University Nehru.
At present, 41 IIT Guwahati members are involved in this center and more than 50 companies have joined the IIT Research Park.
