Hyderabad: Institute of Indian Technology, Hyderabad (IIT-H) received a new PIN code – 502284 – After the Indian Post Department inaugurated the sub-post office inside the IIT-H place on Thursday.
In the name of the Post Department, Telangana Circle – Sangareddy Division with two post offices, 43 sub-post offices, and 253 branch post offices serving all Sangareddy District (27 Mandal, 647 villages) and part of the Medak District (Narsapur, Kowdipally, Alladurg, Regode, Shankarmapet – Mandal).
Now, the new post office in Towers-1 staff, IIT-H will serve the faculty, staff and IIT-H students.
This will provide a sending letter received from various Indian places as well as other countries.
This will serve all the requirements of the post, banking and basic population insurance.

In addition, it will also provide unique facilities such as Aadhar allowing a payment system (AEPS is a payment service that allows bank customers to use Aadhaar as its identity to access bank accounts that are possible Aadhaar and conduct basic banking transactions such as investigation balances, cash withdrawals, delivery of money through Business correspondent) through IPPB Micro-ATM.
The sub-post office was inaugurated by Prof.
BS Murty, Director, IIT-H and S Rajendra Kumar, CPMG, Circle of Telangana, before Dr.
PVS Reddy, PMG, Hyderabad Headquarters Area, and Commodore Manohar Nambiar (RPT.), Registrar, IIT-H.
