Kanpur Times News Network: India Canpur Institute of Technology, on Wednesday announced the launch of four new postgraduate programs through virtual learning for work professionals.
These programs will provide online course content to help professionals who work to expand their career choices.
The four gold friends include programs in the communication system, Cybersecurity, electricity, economic and management sector regulations and derivative markets and risk management.
Industrial focus curriculum 60, 12 modules offer a flexible timeline (one to three years), IIT-K alumni status, access to IIT-K placement cells, alumni networks, and incubation cells.
Credit obtained during the program can be transferred to the Advanced (MTech or PhD) degree in IIT K.
Corporate can also sponsor programs for their employees.
In August 2020, the Indian government announced the 2020 national education policy allowing the top academic institute to offer an online degree for the first time.
IIT-K, which is ranked among the top 5 Indian NIRF institutions, welcomed the steps by offering the Golden degree program on a topic that focuses on the special industry.

With the launch of a golden friend, we have taken another step forward by providing a degree credential program which provides professional access to work into our complete resource and knowledge ecosystem.
