IIT-Kanpur to regulate the Heritage Olympics

Kanpur: With a successful Olympics already under his stomach, Startup Innovation and Incubation Center (SIIC), IIT-Kanpur’s Incubatee, Cultre now launched the second edition for the inheritance Olympics on the occasion of children’s day – November 14.
The Olympics present the main objectives to integrate inheritance education in the mainstream curriculum by making it more accessible to students at the school level and adjusting the conceptual definition around heritage education according to the Indian context.
The curriculum for the Olympics aligned with syllabus and curriculum followed on the main national and international board to ensure the development of Indian heritage sound perspectives.
The second edition of the Olympics will focus on providing an initial understanding of Indian heritage and how tradition was created and forwarded to future generations.
Prof.
Abhay Karandikar, Director, IIT Kanpur said, “SIIC has had history of creating, supporting, and promoting technology and innovation of intensive knowledge that upholds Indian inheritance.
Olympiad legacy Cultre goes beyond only giving knowledge around the subject; it also asks people to learn about Their countries and history are diverse.
“Last year, the event received more than 2,500 registration in all age groups, ranging from 9 to 65 years.
Cultre received extraordinary support from leading organizations, including UNESCO, Amar Chitra Katha, National Rail Museum, Sahapedia, Nehru Planetarium, Museum Mehrangarh Trust, and the Royal Opera House Mumbai.
