IIT modeling shows Covid cases will rise quickly in the coming days, government experts said

New Delhi: A government health expert on Tuesday said that IIT modeling has shown Covid cases will increase rapidly in the coming days.
Dr.
Arora, Chairperson of the Covid-19 working group Ntagi said that maintaining the appropriate behavior of Covid is a must.
“The appropriate Covid behavior and vaccination coverage are two important factors to contain its spread,” he said.
When talking at the Omicron variant of Coronavirus, he said that there were 3-4 sub-lineages of variants.
“These sub-lineages can be different when it comes to diagnosis but their epidemiological behavior is the same,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dr.
Arora emphasized the use of Molnupiravir to prevent hospitalization and ICU receipts.
“Molnupiravir must be given to senior citizens, especially those who have comorbidity.
It should not be given to people from reproductive age,” he added.
