Coimbatore: hoarding and banners, most of them illegal, have begun to mushroom on the streets throughout the city, disturbing motorists and put their lives at risk.
Stockpiling and banners, installed by real estate developers, educational institutions and hospitals, began to appear several months ago, commuter said.
Unlike before, most of them are smaller sized.
“There was almost no banner at Sathy Road a few months ago.
If the problem is not handled immediately, it will endanger the lives of the passengers,” said P Balajinasi, Regular Commuter.
