Ahmedabad: Starting next week, the Civic Agency will begin the journey against illegal ‘non-vegetarian’ food carts that have mushroomed throughout the city and operate without valent city food seller licenses.
The announcement was made on Thursday by the Chairman of the Committee to Stay Hitesh Barot.
The ‘non-vegetarian’ food carts also include those who sell egg preparations too, barot claimed.
When overcoming a press conference, Barot said that AMC had received complaints from various residential areas and religious places to control the proliferation of illegal food outlets and “health problems”.
