Illegal road, waste disposal in Aravali Land near DLF-3

Gurgaon: This should be a protected area, but illegal construction is rampant at Aravali Land near the biodiversity park and DLF-3.
The road and several structures have been illegally built and the construction and disassembly (C & D) waste being disposed of on the ground, said several residents.
This area is categorized as ‘Gair Mumkin Pahar’ (not incorporated hills) in the income record and therefore non-forest activities such as tree cuts and construction are not permitted.
Following complaints in this matter, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) will hear this problem on Wednesday.
Toi has reported that this year it reports that illegal roads, which are more than 1.5 km, have been built from DLF-3 into forest areas, where farm houses and milk have been built and slums have emerged, destroying natural green cover.
DLF-3 residents have submitted an application for encroachment at NGT last month.
According to the applicant, the Corporation Municipal Gurgaon (MCG) has land, and thus the corporation is under the obligation to ensure that no non-forest activities take place on it.
In the trial on August 10, Chairman Ngt Adarsh Kumar Goel observed, “Before considering this problem further, we feel the need to look for factual reports from the combined committee of division forest officers, Gurgaon and MCG, which can be equipped in it.
One month Of course.
” It has been repaired September 22 as a date for the next hearing.
Some residents of DLF-3 said the road was created as an extension of the colony road near the V-10 plot in V-Block, behind the Aravali Biodsity Park.
The villagers have also tried to capture land in the park, they accused.
“We have complained to several institutions regarding encroachment in the Aravali area.
The internal DLF road is used as a highway, with a massive movement of tractors, cars, autos, bicycles and trucks.
The illegal road is being used to dispose of C & D waste in forest land and Illegal colonies will also appear, “said Rohan Singh, a resident.
Singh also said that the deprivation cuts trees and damaged it by removing waste.
Other residents, Sunny, said: “The 200-acre green area which is being interrupted does not have other access points other than the illegal road, which has been paved by several villagers from DLF-3.
MCG has issued a tender to build a wall at the end of the road near V -10, but it’s waiting.
Trees are being cut, the soil is flat and C & D waste is regularly disposed of in the area, but there has been no action taken on the ground.
