JAIPUR: Three Rajasthan police officers had been eliminated from active duty following a guy charged with illegal transport of sand enticed them of extorting cash each month for easing passing for trucks, and officials said on Sunday.
The Dudu team officer (CO), also the Phagi Station House Officer (SHO) and a assistant sub-inspector (ASI) have been connected to the division of their Jaipur superintendent of police (rural) on Saturdaythey stated.
They’ll stay connected to the SP’s office until the research into the issue is finished, the police officers said.
On Friday, five men, including a regional BJP leader Rameshwar Meena, were detained in connection with illegal transport of sand at a dumper in a place beneath the Dudu police channel of Jaipur district, he said.
After a police group had ceased the dumper, its driver, Ramdhan, had inquired why he was stopped after a monthly sum was given to officials in the CO level into the SHO during Meena, he stated.
The driver and cleaner of this dumper had called Meena into the place, the officers.
“Five individuals, such as Rameshwar Meena, were detained in relation to the sand transport.
The dumper has been escorted by a vehicle.
Meena is a Native BJP leader,” SP Jaipur Rural Shankardutt Sharma stated on Sunday.
He explained that Dudu CO Vijay Sehra, Phagi SHO Harinarayan Sharma and ASI Kailash Chand were eliminated in their posting and also will be connected to the SP office until the investigation is finished.
“The police officers have been changed to get an unbiased analysis,” he explained.
