“I’m very healthy, why keep me in the hospital?”

Nagpur: The 40-year-old break on a ward at AIIMS Nagpur appears in the video call.
This case was first known from Omicron variant in Nagpur said, “This is only to show that I am very healthy.
I can do 50 push-ups immediately.
But please don’t disclose my identity.
My old mother will be truly tense to know this, and it will affect her health.
” The man has traveled from the city of Tenkodogo in Burkina Faso, a West African country, to reach the house in Nagpur through Addis Ababa and New Delhi.
Before riding the first flight he had tested negatively and brought RT-PCR reports, he said.
Telling the story, the passenger said, “I reached the capital of Burkina Faso Ouagadougou from Tenkodogo by the road to pursue an Ethiopian airline flight on December 3 the flight got delayed and I had to spend 24 hours in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, in a hotel.
Finally, I landed in New Delhi and then reached Nagpur on the December afternoon 5.
Here, the NMC team took a swab for the RT-PCR test, and the next day I was told to be a positive covid.
” Previously in Nagpur, in April, the man was tested positive covid but without symptoms.
After that he went to Burkina Faso around June, said the man.
He has not been vaccinated.
“I missed a shot because while in India a period of three months after Covid wasn’t over.
At that time I was under 40 years and vaccination for the age group had not started, “he said.
Vaccination has begun in Burkina Faso but he must reach India because of some urgency, he said.
On Sunday, he came to know the omicron of his positive status from a friend, he continued to kliping the news about a Nagpur man from West Africa positive testing for Omicron variants.
“I was called by a NMC doctor, who later confirmed it.
It’s weird why they have made me in the hospital.
I am fine, “he said he considered infection to occur somewhere in Ethiopia.
“Has a flight not postponed, I will only be flown directly from Addis Ababa to Delhi.” During the flight there were no people sitting beside him throughout the trip, he said.
He also questioned authority over the entire system.
“Why didn’t they test me in Delhi itself? At Nagpur, I was allowed to go home after the sample was taken.
Should they don’t have facilities to hold passengers until the results come back? I went home back and stayed with my family.
None of them were positive, “he said.
Patients are also annoyed about RS800 charged for tests, wondering why can’t NMC bear costs.
Another disappointment is about not getting direct information about the positive status of the Omicron.
He also calls omicron nothing but ‘jokes’.
“The doctors said they even knew that there was nothing wrong with me but I would have to stay in the hospital.
I asked them to get my RT-PCR test, where the doctor said it would happen after 2-3 days, “he said.
Back in Burikna Faso, normal life, and so it appears in Ethiopia as well, he said.
“Fussy was only in Nagpur,” he said.
