AMBALA: Haryana wellness and house minister Anil Vij made a fresh controversy on Monday by declaring that the Khattar government’s determination to buy and distribute Patanjali’s Coronil kits one of the Covid-19 patients. “One lakh Patanjali Coronil kits will be distributed for free to Covid sufferers in Haryana. Half of the cost of Coronil was borne by Patanjali and half from the Covid Relief Fund of both Haryana authorities,” tweeted Vij out of his Twitter handle. The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Haryana, ardently opposed the state administration’s decision to buy and distribute Patanjali’s Coronil kits one of the Covid-19 patients. The Haryana government’s decision comes only after the IMA and Patanjali creator Baba Ramdev battled over his statements contrary to allopathy. “IMA and contemporary medicine physicians feel pained from the Haryana government’s determination to buy a placebo (a medication without a medicinal benefit) called Coronil apparel of Patanjali. That is a Whole waste of Government Covid Relief Funds. This is simply to gain Baba Ramdev,” IMA Haryana president Karan Punia told TOI. “This will raise the death rate. By determined by the Coronil kit , a patient will probably postpone coverage into the hospital. This is a really unfortunate choice. Coronil isn’t accepted for coronavirus therapy from the Drugs Controller General of India. Rather, the authorities must have given the cash to Baba Ramdev to oblige him” he explained. “Lately, Baba Ramdev had shown signs to this allopathy and physicians that are fighting Covid-19 in the frontline.
