Kochi: Depression in West Bengal Bengal will weaken into a low-pressure area which is well marked (LPA).
LPA above the center, the South Arab Sea continues to survive and the new ones will likely form above the South Andaman Sea on November 13.
IMD said that this would bring heavy rain to Kerala from 12-15 November.
On Friday (12 Nov), IMD issued a yellow warning in 10 districts except Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod.
On November 13-14, the standard yellow warning was issued for districts of Thiruvananthapuram to Malappuram and Kasaragod.
On November 14, IMD had predicted heavy rain in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Idukki.
On November 15, the yellow warning for isolated heavy rain has been issued for the entire state.
On Thursday morning, Aryankavu recorded the highest rain in 24 hours at 18cm while Thenmala received 12cm and Konni received 7cm.
