IMD estimates heavy rain in the state for 3 days, a warning problem for the Northeast DISS

Ranchi: Ranchi’s Office of the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) on Wednesday estimates heavy rain throughout the Jharkhand in the next 72 hours and issued a warning for very heavy rain and rumbling in the northeastern district on Thursday.
Although the activity of the monsun above the country is normal, IMD said the low pressure area is characterized properly in the northern bay of Bengal and the neighboring area will bring rain to the state.
The West-Western Monsun’s low pressure trough on Wednesday was extended from Ganganagar in Uttar Pradesh to North-West Madhya Pradesh, Varanasi, Patna, Shantiniketan and advanced to Bay Bay, said IMD.
Late at night, the IMD issued light to warn moderate rainfall in Bokaro, Girech, Hazaribag, Dumka, Sahibganj and pakit late at night.
Among August 6 and August 7, as many as 13 districts will receive heavy rain in isolated places between Ranchi, Bokaro, Hazaribag, Palamu and Chatra.
Abhishek Anand, a scientist at IMD Ranchi, said Sikatiya at Deoghar received 191.2 mm rain until 8:30 a.m.
on Wednesday while Jamtara recorded 136.6mm rain.
Deoghar received 67.7mm Rain while Tuughat in the Bokaro district received 54.2mm rain.
Until 17 afternoon on Wednesday, Ranchi reported traces of rainfall while Jamshedpur reported 7mm rain.
The state receives 612.9mm rain until Wednesday since June 1 against a normal average rain of 566mm.
Two districts (Gumla and Simdega) are a shortage of rainfall while six districts are rainfall surplus, said IMD.
