IMD estimates more rain, seven-related districts

Kochi: Depression develops in the Arabian sea and a low pressure area in Bengal Bay will lead to more rainfall in South India.
And IMD has issued a yellow warning for insulated heavy rain (7-11cm) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Palakkad, and Malappuram from 8-10 Nov.
According to IMD, the Lowressure area over the Arab Sea will soon change to a reasonable low pressure and may intensify it into depression in the next 24 hours and away from the coast in the west-northwest direction.
Under the influence, there is a possibility of rain to moderate and one or two spells that are heavily along the coast of Kerala, Karnataka, and Maharashtra for the next two days.
Likewise, under the influence of cyclone circulation in Bengal Southeast Bay, low pressure areas are likely to be formed in the area on November 9.
It’s likely to move towards the North TN Beach on the next 48 hours.
Also, warnings were released for all fishermen, who were in the sea, to return home on November 9 as well, fishermen have been advised not to explore the sea during this period.
Heavy rain warning isolated in Pathanamthitta, Alapapuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod on November 11.
IMD officials said that although only the yellow warning was released, it could be very heavy rain (orange) warning for Kottayam, Idukki, Palakkad, Malappuram and Wayanad on November 11.
Lightning storms are very likely on one or two places in Kerala until November 11 and on November 10-11 for Lakshadweep.
Because of this condition, the weather squeal (wind speed reaches 40-50km / hour and blows to 60km / hour) it is likely to win over the North Coast, Bengal Bengal Bay, Andhra Pradesh Beach and East Bay West Bengal Arab Sea.
Meanwhile, the highest 24-hour rainfall was recorded in the Chitture (4cm), followed by Thrithala, Kuppady, Irikkur, Peringalkuthu and Erimayur (3cm respectively).
There are no major changes in the minimum temperature seen in Kerala for the past 24 hours.
Karipur Airport, Kottayam, Palakkad, Punjur, Thiruvananthapuram Airport and Vellanikkara recorded a minimum temperature of 23 degrees.
Skymet weather said October to December was profitable for low pressure formation and depression in Bay and Arabian sea.
While the monsoon on the South Peninsula is likely to be adequate, the possibility of a typhoon, in the next two weeks, can be ignored, said Skymet.
