New Delhi: Southwest Monsun over the state tends to be normal in July, the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) said on Thursday.
In estimates for July, Director General of General Mr.
Mrutunjay Mohaparna said rainfall was not expected to be good in the first week, it would likely increase in the second half of the second week of July.
“Monthly rainfall for July 2021 in the country as a whole is likely to be normal (94 to 106 percent of the average period),” said IMD.
The IMD will issue estimates for rainfall during the second half of the season towards the end of July or early August.
