IMD forecasts heavy Rain in a Number of Portions of northeast for 2-3 times

GUWAHATI: Components of this northeast India can observe significant to very heavy rain in isolated locations on the subsequent two-three times from Sunday, as stated by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The heavens are predicted to stay typically cloudy with heavy rain on Monday, the IMD said.

“Because of strengthening of southerly winds, rather widespread to widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy falls quite probably over Nordic states and adjacent East India by 30th May, 2021,” IMD mentioned on Saturday.
As stated by the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya will likely encounter heavy showers in isolated regions from Sunday on Tuesday, whereas Arunachal Pradesh will observe isolated heavy rain on Monday.
“Heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur in isolated places across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated locations,” RMC stated.
The IMD has recently issued a yellowish watch on the whole northeast from Sunday to Tuesday, together with all the aide urging citizens to”know” of their neighborhood weather scenario.
Based on RMC, the districts inside Assam Which Are susceptible to heavy rain contain Dhubri, South Salmara Mankachar, Goalpara, Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Nalbari, Kamrup (rural), Darrang, Udalguri, West Karbi Anglong, Karbi Anglong and Karimganj.
In Terms of Arunachal Pradesh, heavy rain is predicted from West Kameng, East Kameng, Papum Pare, Upper Siang, East Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Dibang Valley and Lohit at and about Monday.
This rain could raise the water level of the Brahmaputra, offcials stated.
Considering that the pre-monsoon period in India on March 1, the many populous countries have received below average rainfall.
