Mumbai: The IMD has forecast the temperature of town for the weekend .
On Thursday , both IMD and Colaba Observatory recorded a maximum temperature below 30 degrees Celsius .
Over the past few days, Mumbai witnessed a rise in temperature by IMD Santacruz on 4 January recorded a maximum temperature of 33.3 degrees.
However , on Thursday, the IMD Colaba Observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 28.6 degrees Celsius while the IMD Santacruz observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 29.5 degrees Celsius .
In the case of Colaba , the maximum temperature recorded was 1.9 degrees below normal time in the case of Santacruz was 1.7 degrees below normal .

Because of this , a decrease in temperature can be expected , ” said IMD .
